Young America is a Chattanooga youth & children's ministry making a difference by sharing the love of Jesus with children living in our own country, city, and community. Young America Ministries is sharing the love of Jesus with children living in low-income housing communities by building positive relationships, starting Bible studies, and teaching life skills necessary to thrive in today's world. We work in trailer parks, apartment complexes, youth detention centers, and prisons. God has led us to reach children who:
- are surrounded by alcohol and
drug abuse- live in extreme poverty
- live in multiple family homes
- are constantly uprooted from
homes and schools
- have little or no education
- deal with physical and sexual
abuse
- know little or nothing about God
or the Bible
- have rarely, if ever, gone to church
We are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty, crime, and abuse in the lives of children living "in our own back yards".
